Job Description

-Develop and implement a strategic vision for the organization's R&D department, aligning it with the overall business goals and objectives. -Manage the R&D budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials. -Lead and supervise the execution of multiple research projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. -Collaborate with other departments, such as Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless integration of research activities and smooth progression of drug development programs. -Drive the identification and evaluation of new drug candidates, including exploring potential collaborations and partnerships for research purposes. -Stay updated on relevant regulations, guidelines, and ethical considerations, ensuring that all research activities and clinical trials are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements. -Build and lead a high-performing R&D team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to researchers, scientists, and other team members. -Present research findings, study outcomes, and innovative breakthroughs to internal stakeholders, external partners, and scientific communities through conferences, publications, and presentations..

Requirements:

-Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline, such as pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology, or a related field. -have 16 years’ experience in scientific research and drug development within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a leadership role. -In-depth knowledge of the drug discovery and development process, including pre-clinical research, clinical trials, regulatory affairs, and post-marketing activities. -Strong understanding of various scientific techniques, methodologies, and technologies used in pharmaceutical research. -Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse group of researchers. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and translate scientific insights into actionable strategies. -Excellent communication and presentation skills
